Both an ancient mode of expression and a combination of traditional know-how, Aubusson tapestry has been on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity list since October 2009.

This international recognition from UNESCO celebrates on the one hand a technical mastery unique to the department of Creuse (Limousin, France), and on the other, the perpetually changing, original works of art that are created.

Throughout this website, the Syndicate of the Crafts of Aubusson-Felletin Tapestry and Cloth provides an introduction for both the conservation of ancient works and the creation of contemporary modern pieces.
